After care
As a guide please follow these points after your carpet has been cleaned
As with any damp surface, a damp carpet is a slip hazard. please take care when walking on your newly cleaned carpet and in particular when stepping from the carpet to a hard surface.
Drying times can vary and are dependant on many factors such as carpet pile, wool content, room environment and even outside weather. Drying times can be anything from four to twenty four hours. A humid room will hinder the drying process and we advise you to open a window to reduce humidity. Also a fan will help reduce the drying time if available.
Your carpet may appear grey or darker in areas immediately after it has been cleaned, in particular areas that where heavily soiled. Don't worry, this will soon fade during the drying process.
Understandably you will probably need to walk on the carpet at some point before it has dried, please ensure your shoes or socks are clean. Do not walk on the carpet with brand new dark or coloured socks as this may stain the carpet.
